It is very disturbing to see the Holy Quran is misused for political matters. Now even the imam's are dragged by those unresponsible individuals who put political power as the main reason they live. There are a lot of other issues these selfish politicians should concentrate on. Today's Permatang Pauh by-election result has no meaningful bearing except for one person ambition to change the political landscape of Malaysia and the whole Government machinery used to stop that from happening. I know our politic and politicians are dirty but watching this videos, I didn't imagine it will get this dirty and low. I mean - it's like a pariah kind of low.

WHAT?? Another Statutory Declaration
The same day Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak swore the now famous Wallahi, Wabillahi, Watallahi (With Allah as my witness) I swear I do not know or have any connection with the Mongolian woman, another statutory declaration emerges. No doubt it is "between him and God", the trend of swearing in the name of Allah and statutory declaration in Malaysian politic is very disturbing. The latest SD by one Thagarajoo a/l Thangavellu mentioned that Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his wife is practicing Hindu rituals to "ward off evil". What???
I just cannot imagine in the 21st century someone will do almost anything and everything just to stay in power. Is this the sign of desperation? Can't wait to see how this drama unfolds.
RED Bull and stroke risk
"One hour after they drank Red Bull, (their blood systems) were no longer normal. They were abnormal like we would expect in a patient with cardiovascular disease,"- Scott Willoughby, lead researcher, Cardiovascular Research Centre at the Royal Adelaide Hospital”
I was shocked to learnt about this. A research done by Scott Willoughby from the Cardiovascular Research Centre at the Royal Adelaide Hospital found that drinking just 1 can of Red Bull increased the risk of heart attack and stroke. Willoughby and his team tested the cardiovascular systems of 30 young adults one hour before and one hour after consuming one 250ml can of sugar-free Red Bull. 
It seems that this energy drink is loaded with caffeine and caused the blood to become sticky – a pre-cursor to cardiovascular problems such as stroke. I drank quite a few this year and last year alone Red Bull sold 3.5 billions cans of the energy drink in 143 countries.
This drink is created in the 1980s by Austrian entrepreneur Dietrich Mateschitz based on a similar Thai energy drink. Digging further, I found that Red Bull is banned in Norway, Uruguay and Denmark because of health risks. My question is why on earth such drink is being sold in Malaysia? Is it because our health authorities have done a thorough research and concluded that the drink was safe to consume?
DATUK Ariff Shah - Loser In The Making
Well, Datuk Ariff Shah Omar Shah, the Seberang Jaya state assemblyman, is the chosen one. The Mandarin and Hokkien speaking guy and also an advisor for a Tamil youth club in Penang has been named as the BN candidate for the Permatang Pauh parliamentary by-election on Aug 26. He was once Anwar’s supporter when Anwar was deputy prime minister. 
During the 2004 general election, Malaysians' generous mandate to the then new Prime Minister also gave first-time candidate Ariff Shah a thumping majority of 4,464 votes over the well-known figure Dr Mansor Othman, who was then Penang PKR chief. In 2008 against an unknown Ramli Bulat of PKR, Ariff Shah's majority was only 553 votes, and most of the votes he received were said to be from postal votes.
Datuk Ariff Shah is the brother Tan Sri Amin Shah Omar Shah. Tan Sri Aman Shah’s company, PCS Industries Berhad was awarded a naval contracts worth RM24 billion in 1998 but PCS Industries Berhad never fulfilled its side of the bargain eventhough the government paid PSC billions in upfront money in what dubbed the biggest fraud in Malaysia’s history. Another brother of them, Azlan Shah Omar Shah was the then MD of PSC. Tan Sri Amin Shah is now in self-imposed exile in the UK."Ariff Shah Is The Most Qualified Candidate"

DR MOHAMED Statutory Declaration & Saiful's Medical Report
I love open discussion on Malaysia's political and social scenes. However in the current political environment, the politicians especially those in the Government might not want/like this. Transparency, accountability and justice in the Malaysian political system seems far fetched. However, money politics, corruption, and ethnic polarization deeply rooted in Malaysian society is accepted as the way of life. Whistle blowers are treated and considered as "enemy of the state". One famous and respected whistle blower is YM Raja Petra Kamarudin of Malaysia Today.
Malaysia Today bravely published new documents relating to the sodomy allegations against Anwar i.e. Shaiful's medical report and statutory declaration by Dr Mohamed Osman. In recent weeks Malaysia Today have been badly blocked (of its IP) or Hacked to prevent readers to view the information. Although the website IP have been changed frequently but looks like there are no improvement for a smooth viewing of Malaysia Today now. With all the pending court cases against RPK, I just hope someone somewhere will not shove some C4 up his ass, for his accusation of Najib Abdul Razak's involvement in the sensational killing of Altantuya Shaariibuu.

SODOMY? What sodomy?
Labels: ENGLISH, NATION, POLITICSIt is interesting to note several eye-opener events unfolded this past few weeks with regard to Dato’ Seri Anuar Ibrahim’s sodomy allegations.
On Saiful :
We were told that he was sodomised by Anwar on July 26. Saiful then met Dr. Osman on July 28, complaining of anus pain for two days, After rectal examination using a proctoscope performed by Dr. Osman, he found no abnormality in Saiful’s anus. Saiful then told Dr. Osman that he was sodomised by a VIP (no name mentioned) and wanted to make a police report. Dr. Osman advised Saiful to visit a government hospital.
(a) Why Saiful waited 2 days before going for a medical examination?
(b) Why didn’t Saiful went immediately (after the sodomy) to any government hospital where Anwar’s semen could be extracted from Saiful’s anus for DNA?
On Saiful meeting the police :
As reported in Malaysia Today, there was a secret meeting between Saiful and Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) II Mohd Rodwan Mohd Yusof 3 days before the police report was made. The meeting took place at 2.30 pm on July 25 in room 619 of the Concorde Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Prior to the meeting, Rodwan and Saiful spoke on the phone at least eight times. Rodwan was the one who illegally removed DNA samples from forensic custody in Anwar’s 1998 – 1999 trials.
(a) Is this meeting used to plan the sodomy allegations against Dato’ Seri Anuar Ibrahim?
(b) Failing to give the accused a copy of the police report lodged by complainant Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan more than a month ago without reason.
On the prosecutions:
Anwar was depicted as a repeated sex offender. Strong words and tactics were used by the police to give the impression that they have a very tight and solid case against him.
(a) Finally, Anwar was only charged under Section 377B of the Penal Code (consensual sodomy) which states: “Whoever voluntarily commits carnal intercourse against the order of nature shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to twenty years, and shall also be liable to whipping.” Now, try comparing this with the punishment meted out to rapists. Offenders may only face up to a minimum of five years. While rape by definition carries the meaning of a forced act, sodomy, even if consensual, is treated as the larger sin.
(b) The prosecutor’s failure to produce a list of witnesses – a departure from the norm where the list is ready when the prosecutor presses the charge in court.
On Dr. Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid:
His medical report on Saiful stunned everyone. Saiful was not sodomised,. A statutory declaration (dated Aug 1) and a medical statement (dated June 30) published in Malaysia Today’s website, re-affirming his earlier finding with indisputable clinical details while alleging police harassment and distortion of his testimony.
(a) Is it true he has left Malaysia with his family for their own safety?
(b) Can’t the police protect this key witness or has the Dr. lost faith in the police and our justice system?
On Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim:
Sankaran N. Nair disclosed after leaving the court that Anwar had a watertight alibi, which was already disclosed to the police during their interrogation on Anwar earlier.
At the material time of the alleged offence (3.01 pm to 4.30 pm on 26 June 2008), Anwar was having a meeting with several of his friends in the condominium apartment mentioned in the charge to discuss economic strategies for the Pakatan Rakyat-controlled states. The police have already questioned those involved in the meeting, in addition to questioning owners of the apartment for 25 hours.

GHAZANA In The News - For The Right Reason

Of course she studies hard too. Our mom always scolded her for her habitual “reading something while eating”.
Well, I remember how sometimes I was ‘forced’ to skip sport practice after school, picked her up after school and took Leng Seng’s bus home together. Carrying her schoolbag wasn’t “cool” at that time especially when her classmates are always watching, but a brother got to do what a brother got to do.
I did not do as well as her in my studies. When my father suggest that he’s willing to mortgage our house to finance my studies, I declined. My mom agreed. She was more interested in the well being of the other family member plus the house and the funny thing is…I agree with her. I told myself that I can always further my studies later when I have my own money. I tried twice but was unable to complete it. Not because of the money factor but my priorities have changed a lot since. To this date as and when life gets so difficult, (like all of you, my life have its ups and downs) I regretted not taking up the offer from my father.
Moving forward, I hope my sons and daughters can emulate their aunt’s success in studies. However, I must admit that the meaning of success varies and differs from one person to the other.

CRISTIANO Ronaldo To Play At Manchester For Another Year
Well the dust has settled. The ungrateful disloyal Ronaldo will be playing for MU at least another year afterall. He told a Portuguese newspaper Publico , “I can confirm that, next season, I will play for Manchester United”. Yeah, you should.
Look at all the uncertainty and confusion you have done to the club and supporters. United's relationship with Real has been a casualty of the enduring transfer speculation. Ronaldo, for whom the Spanish club had been prepared to pay 85 million euros, has admitted he is the guilty party and we all knew it from day one.
However 23-year-old Ronaldo, whose contract with United runs till 2012, told the paper he had not ruled out an eventual move to Real Madrid at some point in his career. Ronaldo's comments put an end to the speculation and war of words between United and Real concerning the top scorer in the English Premiership last season.
Ronaldo is currently in Portugal where he is recovering from surgery on his injured right ankle. Well the right thing to do is for Alex Ferguson to start scouting for new and better talent to replace this brat. I just hope that this ungrateful man broke his leg sometime mid season. Maybe then we can see whether Real Madrid REALLY want him.
But whatever it is – let it be known that no one player is bigger than MU. I’ve seen many talented players leave MU. Remember when Cantona left? Or Beckham for that matter. It may slow the process a bit but MU is the current champions of Europe.
ANWAR To Be Charged
Just 20 days before the Permatang Pauh by-election, Opposition leader DSAI will be charged with sodomy, thanks to his 23-year-old former aide, Mohamad Saiful Bukhari Azlan. He was required to appear in court at 10.00am tomorrow.
The by-election is expected to return him to parliament but as the story slowly reveals itself, someone, somewhere is going all out NOT to let him have that opportunity. The Election Commission maintain that DSAI could still contest the by-election even after charges were laid, although he would be disqualified if he is found guilty and jailed.
Looking at the current situation the case will begin in September at the earliest, meaning there will be no outcome until well after the by-election. This is probably an attempt by someone somewhere to affect the election result.
DSAI was virtually assured of victory in the ballot in Permatang Pauh, however massive vote-rigging by someone somewhere to block him from winning the key ballot is a possibility. There was also the risk that Anwar could be taken into custody and not granted bail after being charged.
Readers should take note that DSAI was jailed a decade ago on sodomy charges that were later OVERTURNED. DSAI like before, has repeatedly rejected the accusations, saying they have been fabricated to prevent him from toppling the government after March elections that handed the opposition an unprecedented one-third of parliamentary seats. And many Malaysians like me, believe him. A survey conducted by Merdeka Center from July 4 to 14 2008, indicates that only 11 percent out of 1,030 Malaysians interviewed, believed in the allegations
MONTAUK Monster
The Montauk monster is an unidentified creature with a hooked beak, bloated, hairless and the size of a dog which is said to have been washed onshore in Montauk. Gawker first reported it on Tuesday and created a media frenzy. Is it an unknown marine mammal, a sea turtle without its shell, an artful Photoshop creation, escaped experiment from the government animal-disease research facility on Plum Island, just offshore from Montauk or just plain latex? 
However, a few witnesses has emerged. At least four people saw it and more than one photographer has taken the monster's picture. As for me - I want to believe!
